Laura J. Larocca, PhD

Hello and welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in the School of Ocean Futures at Arizona State University.

I am a climate scientist. My research focuses on understanding past and contemporary climate change and its impact on Earth systems, with a particular emphasis on the cryosphere. My work employs a variety of approaches including the use of sediment and other natural archives; historical and remotely sensed observational records; and geospatial tools and modeling.

I will soon be seeking graduate and undergraduate students to join my research group. Please stay tuned for opportunities!
